Betty Swollocks draws blokes.

Not famous blokes. Not handsome blokes. Ordinary British men, drawn badly on purpose, with something true written underneath in marker pen.

The drawings are about the things men do not say about themselves. Petty shame kept for decades. Daft pride. Small enthusiasms admitted out loud. The stuff that never makes it into a conversation down the pub, but sits there anyway.

Stef started a fight and got beaten up in 1996. Benny still feels guilty about penny sweets from forty years ago. Bert loves Dua Lipa. Nobody is being mocked. That is the point.

Every drawing is done by hand, badly, in one go. No corrections, no technique, no art school. That is not an accident, it is the whole method.

Prints are 21x30cm on matte paper, printed to order and posted anywhere.
